Pyramid is the strongest massive rectangular tomb built by Egyptians. They planned to build indestructible graves to stand for very long time. They brought millions of well-designed stones according to their requirements from quarries which were weighing 2500 – 4000 kilograms. About 2000 - 9000 labourers worked constantly at the construction site until the tomb be finished. When they placed the dead body of pharaoh, kept the deceased with, jewels, food, clothes, furniture and small servant. The believed that they could use them after dead. Since the early pyramids were looted, they made stronger and larger structures to protect them. The pyramid passages were blocked and their entrances were faced over, making them safer to prevent it to be looted. The pyramids are located in the valley of Kings.

Why did the Egyptians build Pyramids?
The Egyptians believed that there is a new life after death. They wanted to preserve the dead bodies of pharaohs (ancient Egyptian kings) and nobles in a very strong format. Mummification was the best method for keeping the dead bodies found by them. When they were preserving the body, they attached some objects with deceased such as jewels, food, cloth, furniture and small servant figures for their afterlives. Because of the safety, they needed a very strong place to keep that things from natural disasters, war and theft. They found pyramids. A pyramid is a very strong massive structure with triangular sides that meet in a point at the top. They built pyramids. However, all of them standard royal tombs.
